An idea is only just an idea without the passion, drive, and will power to execute. The Maestro Music Bar & Restaurant and its accompanied boutique hotel, La Locanda began as just that; an idea. When three lifelong friends came up with their dream concept, they collaborated until this little imaginary place cultivated into a large community of music aficionados, food lovers and globe trotters. The journey, however, to its final form was long and full of obstacles. The group looked for over seven years across Jabal Al Weibdeh for the perfect location to open Maestro. They knew in their hearts that Maestro could not be what it is now in any other area. But with a lot of patience, they continued their search with a persistence until they found the building of their dreams. They then spent years bringing all their sketches to life with a lot of creativity and grit. Now Maestro stands as Jordan’s only music bar, years after its grand opening in 2015! Aside from the iconic weekly Jam sessions that we host in our music bar, Maestro is also known for its many restaurant experiences, including its lush outdoor garden, and rooftop, which is primed with 360 views of Amman. La Locanda also offers guests from around the world an immersive look into Arabic music culture with each of its 21 rooms designed after an infamous musician from the region. Maestro’s story is reaching more and more people every single day, and our hope is to become a part of Amman’s history the deeper our roots grow in our beautiful city.
